Job Description

The Customer Onboarding Strategist at Google Customer Solutions is responsible for managing a new customer portfolio for six months to ensure long-term success with their digital advertising journey. This role requires delivering against assigned customer goals while prioritizing an outstanding onboarding experience. Collaboration with Sales, Product, and Program teams is essential for seamless customer handovers. The ideal candidate will proactively improve customer relationships, tailor performance-enhancing suggestions, promote Google products, and provide strategic advice to maximize advertiser ROI through a consultative approach. The position necessitates strong communication and analytical skills, combined with knowledge of online media and the ability to identify and address business needs. Fluency in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam is preferred to support client relationship management in the specified region.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in sales, account management, or advertising

  • Strategic advice to maximize ROI
  • Cross-functional collaboration
Good to have:
  • 2+ years in digital agency with Google product focus
  • 2+ years in TV or media industry
  • Fluency in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, account management, media planning, sales pitching, negotiation, product insight, communication, and identifying customer needs.
  • Experience in business, media account management, or the advertising industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in a digital agency, with a focus on Google products.
  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.
  • Ability to proactively reach out to customers/cold calling and enjoy helping customers to add value to their business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Provide strategic advice to help our advertisers get the best return on their investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
