About the Role:
Vercel’s talent team is lean, fast-moving, and deeply embedded in the business. We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to help scale our most critical technical orgs — including Engineering, Product, Data, Security, and IT.
This isn’t a plug-and-play recruiting role. You’ll have the freedom to drive projects and iterate quickly, while partnering deeply with our EPD orgs to build world-class teams. What You Will Do:
- Own full-cycle recruiting across our engineering org (Edge Networking, Compute, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, and beyond), as well as technical teams like Product, Security, IT, and Data.
- Build and manage pipelines for high-priority roles — from individual contributors to leadership.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders to define candidate profiles, shape interview processes, and drive alignment.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent in a competitive market.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and optimize for speed and quality throughout the funnel.
- Deliver a high-signal, high-touch candidate experience from first touch to close.
- Contribute to how we scale hiring — from process and tooling to employer brand and market positioning.
About You:
- 5+ years of highly technical recruiting experience, with a proven ability to engage deeply with both engineering and non-engineering domains (e.g. Product, Security, Data, IT).
- Strong technical acumen — you're able to quickly understand complex engineering concepts and speak credibly with candidates. Experience recruiting for deeply technical products is a big plus.
- You've built hiring processes from the ground up, especially in newer or scaling functions, and know how to evolve them as the org grows.
- You’re energized by ambiguity and naturally build structure where needed.
- You move fast, think like a founder, and operate with high agency.
- Strong sourcing fundamentals with a creative, targeted approach to outreach.
- Comfortable using data to guide decisions, identify gaps, and iterate quickly.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder — you earn trust with ICs and execs alike.
- Familiarity with tools like Greenhouse and Gem is a plus.
